Soybean revolution in West Africa

November, 2020.

With the growing market for poultry production in West Africa and a shortage of corn, there is strong demand for soybeans growing as the main component of feed for the poultry industry. The company has realized some extensive trials of the technology for growing this legume crop in the Republic of Benin in 2020. As part of the proposed technology, a nitrogen-fixing inoculant in liquid and dry forms was used based on living cells of the bacterium Bradirhizobium japonicum  3,0 L/ton of seeds, as well as a biological seed protector based on living cells of the bacterium Pseudomonas aureofaciens and their metabolic products 1,0 L/ton of seeds.

And two foliar treatments in phases (2-3 true leaves and before flowering) with a composition of chelated micronutrients of 0,5 L/ha and a biological fungicide based on living cells of the bacterium Pseudomonas aureofaciens 0,5 L/ha.

The results is as follows:

CONTROL without any treatments

TRIAL with liquid inoculant & seeds protector + 2 foliar applications

Beans per Plant = 62

Plants per m2 = 28

2000 beans weight = 0.120 kg

Area = 10000m2

Productivity = 17,360,000 beans / ha

= 1.041,60 kg / ha

Protein content – 35%

Beans per Plant = 84

Plants per m2 = 35

2000 beans weight = 0.165 kg

Area = 10000m2

Productivity = 29,400,000 beans / ha.

= 2.425,50 kg / ha

Protein content – 37%

Crop residues decomposer is the basis of biologization in intensive agricultural technologies.

July, 2021.

The company has begun testing a new crop decomposition technology on corn in Argentine. The main task is to reduce the pathogenic background in the soil by destroying the corn residues, to restore a soil fertility and thus affect the yield of the subsequent soybean crop.

The unique composition contains a very high concentration of live cells of the bacteria Bacillus subtilis, as well as the fungi Trichoderma viride & lignorum.
